Storm is a happy, hard working team of 22 people. The independantly owned consultancy has three core business areas: Food and Drink, Wellbeing and Lifestyle and Corporate and B2B, which are run by three talented Account Directors, whose teams are imbued with being results, not process, driven.
We won't bore you here with our interests/teams/pets/star signs or how mad or zany we are, (but if you are interested check out our facebook page!). You'll just need to know that we're very good at what we do. With us, what you see is what you get; no-nonsense, honest and realistic professionals. We won't over-promise, but may well exceed your expectations. But don't just believe us, we'd be happy to put you in touch with any of our current clients.
We're proud that our win rate in new business pitches is significantly higher than the industry norm, and that our client retention rate is outstanding - many have been partners for five years plus - our oldest at nearly 20 years. Much emphasis these days is placed on client/agency 'chemistry', an area which, we are told, we score well on.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF STORM
Storm Communications was founded in 1994 by Derek Lowe and Amanda Williams, both of whom are still closely involved in the business today, as a break away agency that hit the ground running with six people and six clients. One of those clients is still wth us today!
Based in leafy Bucks for the first six years, Storm moved to London in 2000 to be close to the media, and to recruit top London PR talent. Covent Garden was home for ten years but in 2011 the company moved across the river to Southwark, close to Tate Modern and The Globe Theatre.
We love our bright and airy glass-fronted offices, in a converted railway arch under the Blackfriars line, and like welcoming people here.
