OBJECTIVE

Position FFB as the market development consultancy for British food and drink producers, and put exporting on the boardroom agenda for the industry as a whole.

SOLUTION

A three-year corporate reputation campaign was implement, positioning FFB as the authority on all food and drink export issues within the national and broadcast press, as well as relevant trade sector titles.  Authority positioning work, such as speaker platforms, business advice columns, opinion pieces and letters, have complemented a robust media relations campaign.  An international network was also established between FFB’s London and its nine international offices, to identify stories and case histories.

RESULTS

During the campaign period, over £1.2 million of EAV coverage was generated, creating over 43 million OTS and delivering a nine-times ROI.  On average FFB appeared in the national and broadcast media once every seven weeks, and in its key industry title, The Grocer, once a fortnight.
