OBJECTIVE

Launch new exhibition targeting the packaging and processing community within the food and drink industry, to generate exhibitor and visitor interest.

SOLUTION

An intense media relations campaign was implemented targeting the packaging and processing industry, as well as retail management.  Communication with a wide number of publications, from grocery to vertical food and drink titles, to technology and manufacturing media, was essential to reach all audiences.  The campaign focused on the reasons for attending this uniquely focused show, while also showcasing the companies exhibiting.

RESULTS

Attendance at the exhibition exceeded expectations with around 15,000 visitors over the four day event, which the media coverage helped achieve.  More than 130 items of coverage appeared across key publications reaching a total audience of over 3.3 million.  This resulted in an ROI of 12 times initial investment.
