OBJECTIVE
Launch a new design-to-print brand development system to retailers and brand owners in the food and drink sector, showcasing its existing credentials and unique business benefits within the NPD process.
SOLUTION
A proactive media relations campaign was implemented to launch ODIN within all relevant marketing, packaging, printing and grocery retailing titles. Interviews with key publications were set up to brief journalists thoroughly on this complex brand management tool, and then complemented by case studies, company profiles, comment features and news releases to ensure ODIN achieved an on-going presence within target publications.
RESULTS
The campaign generated a number of news business leads within the 10-month launch period. Coverage was achieved in all the key titles, from Retail Week to The Grocer, and Retail Packaging to Packaging Europe, reaching an audience of 774,774 and resulting in an EAV in excess of £45,000.
